I first attended my HAI Level 1 workshop in February 2008. It was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. For 30 years my heart had been shut down in order to avoid the pain of abandonment. I was unable to give or receive love. In one weekend HAI opened my heart and I was able to receive love from others. On Monday morning I sat at peace recalling the weekend and realising not only have I been opened to receive love but that I feel love for others. Since that workshop I have learnt what it means to love oneself
